TING (This Is Not Gentoo) is a Gentoo-based LiveCD used for installing Gentoo on a non-networked system.
It is comparable to Gentoo's Universal-InstallCD's which have been discontinued as of the 2006.0 release.

TING contains the official stages and snapshot plus additional distfiles as published by
Gentoo's Release Engineering Team with the latest 2007.0 release. Contrary to Gentoo's
2007.0 LiveCD's and InstallCD's TING is based on a current Kernel (2.6.22-gentoo-r2)
and a Portage snapshot taken on 17th August 2007.

For problems with installing Gentoo using this TING Universal InstallCD consult the Gentoo Forums,
report problems with booting this TING Universal InstallCD to Tobias Scherbaum.
